Every spring in May there is the Yadkin Valley Wine Festival with over 25 local wineries,with food and entertainment for the entire family. The Elkin Farmers Market is now open through September on Saturdays from 8am until noon.

In September or October, Elkin's Pumpkin Festival features music and great food for friends and families to enjoy.
